Parking is free and sits at the door, so the car stays close for day trips towards Papuk Nature Park or east along the Drava plain. The City Museum of Virovitica, housed inside Pejacevic Castle, is a short ride away, and the centre of town is close enough for an evening out. Air conditioning covers the hot Slavonian summer, and both pets and children are accepted without fuss.
