Hotels in Umag

Umag sits at the northern tip of Istria, close enough to the Slovenian border that Sečovlje Salina Nature Park is a short drive away, and it is best known outside Croatia as the host of the ATP Croatia Open at Stadion Stella Maris. Most of its hotels line the coast toward Katoro Beach and Umag's Main Beach in a strip of Plava Laguna resort properties built for beach-first stays, while the old town itself, centred on the Church of Saint Mary and Saint Peregrine, stays smaller and quieter than Poreč or Rovinj further down the coast. Aquapark Istralandia is a short trip inland, and Pula Airport is roughly 70 to 80 km south.
