Hotel Katarina occupies its own island directly opposite Rovinj's historic core, the second largest in the Rovinj Archipelago and distinctive for the historical remains of an old castle integrated into the hotel itself, giving it a touch of the Austro-Hungarian era. Mediterranean vegetation, promenades and 19th-century parks surround the property, with views over the town, the Zlatni Rt park forest and the rest of the archipelago from several vantage points.
