House of Five Senses earns its name from the wellness wing built onto the back of the property: an indoor pool for wet mornings, an outdoor one for the warm months, a sauna, and a hot tub that guests keep coming back for in the reviews. The rest of the house is unshowy and comfortable, three bedrooms and two bathrooms with a fully equipped kitchen for the days nobody wants to leave. Walking, biking and hiking trails start close to the door, and Kurija Domin, one of the old estates in the area, sits about 3.7 miles off along with a local war memorial of the same distance. Zagreb's airport is a manageable 26 miles away, close enough for a day trip, far enough that the hills stay quiet.
