We used Studio Ema for two nights specifically to visit the City Museum of Rijeka, and the ten-minute taxi ride there was straightforward and quick. The suite size made this an easy pick for our family of four, and having both pools meant the kids never had a boring afternoon even on the one rainy day we had. As a couple celebrating an anniversary, the one-minute walk to Lido Beach was exactly what we wanted, no long walks or taxi rides just to reach the water. Breakfast on our own terrace became a daily ritual, and dinner at the hotel's restaurant one night, LaTrattoria the next, covered our evenings well. The inland location meant more driving to reach the coast each day than we initially planned for, so factor that in if a beach-heavy itinerary is the priority.

We stayed as a couple for a long weekend and the French-inspired dining room quickly became the highlight, worth booking the hotel for on its own. The small casino gave us one memorable evening we had not planned on, a nice change from the usual dinner-and-drinks routine of a coastal trip.
