Apartment Sv. Anton
A quiet apartment inside Kastav's old walls
Sobre este hotel
Apartment Sv. Anton sits two minutes' walk from Kastav centar, inside the same walled hilltop old town above Viškovo that also hosts Hotel Kukuriku, giving guests a simpler, apartment-style base for a longer stay rather than a full-service hotel. The minute's walk to Bistro oštarija Fortica covers an easy dinner without needing a car, and the cobbled, largely car-light lanes of Kastav make the immediate surroundings genuinely pleasant to walk regardless of the season. The roughly hour-and-nine-minute taxi ride to the regional airport, similar to Kukuriku's own distance, reflects the shared inland, hilltop position of both properties above the coast, based on what is confirmed in the listing itself, for guests who value that kind of detail, compared with similar properties nearby, which is not always guaranteed elsewhere on this coast.
- Inside Kastav's old town
- Near-perfect rating
- Self-contained apartment
- Pet-friendly
Nuestra opinión
Apartment Sv.
- ✓Walk Kastav's cobbled lanes in the early morning or evening for the most pleasant temperature and light.
- ✓Eat at Bistro oštarija Fortica at least once, it is a minute's walk and reflects the old town's genuine local character.
- ✓Rent a car if the coast is part of the itinerary, the apartment's hilltop position makes public transport impractical.
Por qué nos gusta

Por qué encanta a los viajerosWe stayed here for a week while exploring the wider Kvarner region, using the apartment's kitchen for breakfasts and Bistro oštarija Fortica for a couple of dinners a minute away. The setting inside Kastav's old walls made every walk pleasant, cobbled lanes and quiet corners rather than the busier coastal promenades. It is not close to the beach at all, so we drove down most days, which worked fine with a rental car.
